For me, AI is not a replacement for artistic creation, but a tool that accelerates experimentation, expands expressive possibilities, and improves production efficiency. Especially in hybrid 2D–3D workflows, visual style exploration, and asset production pipelines, AI tools allow me to move ideas into a visual stage much more quickly.

This process has also helped me develop a deeper understanding of emerging creative workflows that are shaping the future of animation, games, and digital media production.

Text-Image-3D Generative AI

This video showcases a workflow developed using ChatGPT, 3DAI-Hyper3D|Rodin, Mixamo, Rokoko motion capture, and Maya. The first prototype took only 40 minutes to complete by combining a pre-recorded mocap file with a HumanIK retargeting template I created. The process also works with any personal 2D drawing—not just text prompts.
This approach is incredibly useful for rapid previsualization in 3D animation, fast prototyping of ideas, testing cameras and embodied movement in pre-production, and supporting 2D artists who want to explore 3D without heavy technical overhead. And of course, it opens space for experimental workflows—which I always enjoy.
At the MFA Computer Arts program, I’ve been developing multiple Rokoko and LiveLink workflows, exploring how performance capture, simulation, and software integrations can expand creative possibilities and optimize customized workflows for graduate students' projects.
